This past month, I had the chance to head out to Denver, Colorado, for a few days and shadow one of our fantastic sales reps, Robert Prigmore. As the Marketing Coordinator, I wanted to see firsthand how our sales team operates and learn more to better align marketing efforts with those in the field.
It was a great experience seeing how Robert approaches these customer visits with confidence and knowledge, making connections with the pharmacists we visited. He has a way of understanding their needs and presenting our solutions in a way that feels like a true partnership.
What really impressed me was Robert's time spent to train technicians. These team members are often responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the entire cleanroom among their other day to day responsibilities. Robert's approach was relatable and empathetic to the amount of time and effort these tasks take. He understands this can be a repetitive process but also emphasizes the importance in maintaining a sterile environment. Watching him break down the steps while connecting on a personal level was a great learning experience for me.
It’s clear that Robert knows our products inside and out—he’s a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about disinfectants, compliance standards, and best practices. But what really stood out to me was his care for his customers. I was able to observe how he navigated listening to the customer needs and then offer real-life solutions that make their jobs easier. He’s the embodiment of our side-by-side support philosophy, and it shows in everything he does.
And on top of that, Robert is super active outside of work! He’s into skiing, hiking, running, and fishing, and I think that same energy and passion carries over into his work. He’s always on the go and always ready to help his customers with a "whatever it takes" mentality.
I learned so much from him in just 48 hours, and I can’t wait to work closely with him and the rest of our sales team more years to come.
