Jaclyn Barhoum joined the Contec Healthcare team in 2026 as a Senior Business Territory Manager. Based in the Greater Seattle area, Jaclyn brings extensive experience in healthcare sales, strategic account management, and business development. Before joining Contec, she worked with large healthcare organizations, health systems, payers, government clients, and pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in business, management, and marketing from Western Washington University.
Jaclyn takes a consultative and service-oriented approach to supporting her customers. She partners with compounding pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, and healthcare systems to understand their operational needs and help strengthen contamination control practices. By combining product and process education with thoughtful sales support, Jaclyn helps customers improve cleaning, disinfection, garbing, material transfer, and hazardous drug handling processes while aligning their operations with USP <797> and USP <800> best practices.
As Senior Business Territory Manager, Jaclyn serves customers throughout Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Her responsibilities include developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending solutions from Contec Healthcare’s portfolio. Through her healthcare industry experience and commitment to building strategic partnerships, Jaclyn helps organizations create safer, more consistent compounding environments and supports them in meeting critical compliance and contamination control goals.
Neil Simpson
Technical Services Manager EMEA and R&D Manager EMEA
Neil has over twenty years of experience in the contamination control industry, supporting pharmaceutical, biomedical and other critical industries. Currently the Technical/R&D Manager for Contec in Europe, Neil developed Contec’s cleanroom disinfection products for European and other global markets.
Neil is a microbiologist with extensive expertise in the field of chemical disinfection and has developed disinfectant products and processes for cleanroom use worldwide, including a product design patent. Neil has conducted seminars and presentations globally on cleanrooms, disinfectants, and GMP requirements, and has co-authored published articles such as ‘ Virucidal testing of Cleanroom Disinfectants’ and has assisted facilities in selecting appropriate disinfectants, wipes, and mopping systems for use in critical and controlled environments.
As Quality Manager for Contec, Neil was instrumental in establishing Contec’s European disinfectant manufacturing and was integral in gaining ISO 9001 for their European manufacturing site. Previously Technical Development Manager for Shield Medicare/Ecolab for nearly 10 years, Neil holds a degree in Applied Biology and Microbiology from University of Wales Institute.
